The TOKYO AUTO SALON 2009 with NAPAC is the world’s largest automotive exhibition.
And at this year’s show, the Project Kahn F1-X Carbon Fiber wheels adorned the performance Nissan GT-R.
The GT-R, named Motor Trend car of the year, certainly kept car and design enthusiasts busy.
Combining Carbon Fiber with light magnesium alloy, fans ogled the F1 – X wheels to their heart’s content.
The positive response delighted Kahn Design’s Richard Raw who was in attendance. He commented: “I believe driving is all about a car responding to the driver's wishes and successive generations of the GT-R have consistently pursued this vision of ultimate driving pleasure.
“Thanks to our unique F1-X carbon fiber light weight wheels; GT-R drivers will find an improvement in power and handling.”
The F1-X is the first in a pioneering new program from Kahn Design to develop a series of high performance wheels which retain the aesthetic integrity and attention to detail which has established Kahn Design as a world leader in wheel creation.
