Discerning customer, Daniel Oldja speaks to Kahn News.com about purchasing a Range Rover Sport and his passion for Project Kahn.
Project Kahn’s masterful appeal and attention to detail have made it one of the most exclusive automotive design companies to date. From their unique alloy wheels to their luxurious interior components, Kahn Design consistently lives up to its high standards of quality and superiority. As one of the many clients that Project Kahn serves around the world, I can strongly attest to these remarks.
In 2007, I purchased my first Range Rover Sport Supercharged (pictured above), which was truly was a remarkable vehicle. With a 4.2L V8 engine producing 390hp and 410 lb-ft of torque at 3500 RPM, there was certainly nothing holding it back. The driving experience was comfortable and thrilling, a combination that proved to be enjoyable on all levels. After a few months with the SUV, I was interested in some aftermarket accessories to give it a new look. After doing some research on the internet, I came across Project Kahn’s website. As I was looking through their products and reading testimonials from other customers, I felt confident in purchasing a product from them.
My first order was the Project Kahn Stainless Steel Chrome Polished Exhaust System with Machined Aluminum Tips. Once I received the exhaust system and got it installed, it sounded like a completely different Range Rover. When idling, it had a very deep distinct sound, and when redlining, it absolutely roared!
My brother and I would literally trade each other’s cars each time so we could both hear the incredible sound it made while driving. There is no doubt that sound turned many heads on the road. In fact, while waiting at several red lights, some people literally walked over to get a better look at the unique Kahn design exhaust system. As much fun as it was, I felt like I needed more.
After some decision making, I then turned to the Kahn Design RS-C Monoblock 5 spoke wheels. As Kahn’s website has said, and I could not have said it better: “The 5 spoke masterpiece has the subtle curves and pleasing symmetry that are the hallmarks of another timeless Kahn classic.”
That statement could not be closer to the truth. I was very pleased with the wheels, and have always felt graced with the presence of my Kahn design exhaust and wheels whenever I drive my Range Rover. After installing a lowering module, spraying the front grill matte, and powder coating the RS-C Monoblock wheels, the car had truly been transformed into a vehicle far from the ordinary. From what was once a Range Rover Sport Supercharged, Project Kahn had flawlessly turned it into rolling art.
My Range Rover is very guttural, very gritty. When you shift gears at high speed, it almost barks. And it handles like no other Range Rover; so smooth and secure that it feels as if the car is glued to the road.
As far as I am concerned; Project Kahn has a cool philosophy and I for one know how big this brand is – and I will certainly be back for some more products in the future!
