Following completion of the repair process & the supply of new / repaired panels, interior trim & mechanical / Electrical parts, you must re-fit the vehicles in line with strict manufacturer`s instructions.

To qualify, you must have a minimum of five years experience in an identical role & have worked in an repair/restore environment within the past 12 months.

Accounts Assistant: To be part of the accounts team responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate Accounting function.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To receive and process all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment.
• Verify calculations and input codes in to the Accounts system in an accurate manner.
• To maintain and reconcile the Direct Debit mandates.
• To deal with daily transactions for the petty cash and ensure that reconciliations are completed on a weekly basis.
• To ensure all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepare cheques for payment.
• To ensure that all post is sent daily.

Skills / Attributes Desired:

• Previous experience in an Accounts office.
• Strong Microsoft and Excel skills
• Ideally be studying for the AAT (Association of Accounting Technician or equivalent)
• Good organisation and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Project Kahn have an immediate vacancy for a Qualified Accountant in their West Yorkshire Head Office.

Typical Roles will include:

-Management and production of the monthly accounts to the agreed timetable, for review with the Chief Accountant.

-Ongoing review of the management accounts process to recommend and implement more efficient practices and eliminate any unnecessary work.

-Preparation of monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations for review with the Chief Accountant.

-Attend the monthly Operations meeting as the Finance representative.

-Provide decision support and financial guidance to the Operations Managers and the Business Development Managers.

-Develop management information reports to assist the Operations Managers with the control of their business.

-Maintenance of the General Ledger.

-Ensure that all management accounts instructions are fully documented.

-Production of the annual budget and of forecasts with the Chief Accountant.

-Additional analysis at half year and year end.

The ideal candidate will be qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent with proven experience in a similar role with excellent communication skills.
