Driven by a desire for more sporting iteration, Project Kahn went back to the

drawing board to create a more aggressive look for the car, STARTING with the

wheels. Project Kahn employed one of the premier alloy designs from their sister

company Kahn Design, fitting the GTS with the classic RS-D Diamond edition. With an

outstanding diamond cut finish and a classic yet contemporary design the RS-D fits

the role perfectly.

The Project Kahn aerodynamic body styling system is the most distinguished

element within the GT-S package. The styling system provides a complete look with

front spoiler, rear apron, side sills and a rear boot spoiler. Manufactured from

high quality polyurethane reaction injection molding (PU RIM), the styling system

maintains the demanding standards required by the Project Kahn team ensuring no

element of the conversion undermines the essential quality of the vehicle.

The Project Kahn GT-S also sport s a complete interior upgrade, featuring quilted

Nappa leather available in a variety of colours and combinations. All seats, door

panels, steering wheels and gear shifts are re-upholstered to offer the ultimate

quality driving experience. Various fabrics are available including alcantara, suede,

perforated, grained or smooth leather plus many more.

Completing the conversion, as with all Project Kahn Vehicles, the GT-S is fitted with

tinted privacy glass as well as a fully adjustable electronic lowering module to

create a firmer, more responsive drive.

The visuals cover all the hotspots starting with the  front spoiler, wheel arch extensions, Kahn stainless steel sill plates, billet machined Kahn foot pedals, floor puddle lights and sports springs lowering the German SUV bringing the ride height down 30mm. Another notable feature would be Kahn’s 22 inch wheels which come in twenty two different designs! The inside’s been decorated with white along with black & red quilted leather.

The Freelander as the junior member of the 4×4’s most aristocrat family; Land Rover, continues to be the nations favourite SUV with its combination of car-like dynamics and smart styling explaining their popularity.

Taking inspiration from the Project Kahn Range Rover Sport RS600, the Freelander RS200 has received an extensive makeover from the king of aesthetic conversions Afzal Kahn.

The Freelander RS200 modifications include features which are unrivalled in today’s market, including to the exterior; Kahn 20” RS wheels and tyres, matt black signature bonnet stripe, silver door handles, door mirror caps, front bumper vents, body coloured style vents, side sills, front grille surround and smoked side repeater’s.

Climb aboard the RS200 and you’ll find modifications including black quilted leather interior with contrasting white stitching complete with RS200 logo’s, steering wheel with white contrast stitching and Kahn red and white speedo and rev counter.

The RSL’s have been powder coated in yellow throughout, the spokes have been treated to a black satin finish and the studs removed and coated black.

As many as 22% of these drivers have known about the dangerous fault on their vehicle for more than six months, the report claims. A total of 31% claimed they could not afford to fix the problem, while 11% said they had not had time to get their car repaired.

The most common faults are worn tyres, defective brakes and faulty exhaust pipes.

Around 5% of the vehicles in need of repair have broken or missing wing mirrors, while about the same number have broken head or tail lights.

 Britannia Rescue general manager Simon Stevens said: “It’s concerning that so many motorists currently drive dangerous vehicles in need of repair. Some repairs may appear to be minor but they could still turn a car into a death-trap that endangers the driver, passengers and other motorists.

 Stevens went on to say, “It can be tempting to put off repairs but doing this could lead to you being fined and, far worse, put you and your family in danger.”
